About the Department:

The English department handles Foundation and Functional language papers for the students of various departments from the College. Enhancing the communication skills of the students to facilitate them in handling job interviews is the main focus of the department. The Department has various programs such as the English Literary Association, Reading Club and Creative Writing Club to cultivate confidence among students. Moreover, many events are conducted from time to time to improve the versatility of the students.

On top of the hat, the department is proud to announce that it has English Teaching Assistant Program. The English Teaching Assistant (ETA) program offered in collaboration with the United States India Educational Foundation (USIEF), aims to support students in learning English engagingly and cheerfully. ETAs from the U.S.A. teach the English language while also serving as cultural ambassadors for the United States.
